Abstract

|
Holoprosencephaly results from a failure of cleavage of the embryonic brain and is associated with midline facial hypoplasia. We experienced a case of holoprosencephaly, alobar type in the newborn male patient who showed cyclopia proboscis and
extracranial anomalies such as cardiac defect and imperforated anus.
